I love, love, love workout dvds. They're a specific block of time (usually not that much time), they're inexpensive, and the best part? You can just zone out and follow along with what the instructor is telling you. The best and worst part is that there are a billion of them out there -- so which ones do you choose?
I thought we could use this space to share our reviews of workout dvds we've tried. So: What are your favorite, go-to dvds? Who's your favorite dvd personality? Tried a new one recently? Tell us about it!

I have a bunch of workout DVDs, and my absolute favorite is The Firm: Total Body Time Crunch, with The Firm: Cardio Dance Express coming in as close second. Both are enough of a workout that I feel like I'm doing something, but also fun enough that I don't mind doing them every day. The routines are easy to learn and once you do, you can really get into them.

I am OBSESSED with Jillian Michaels dvd series! I have the 30 day shread and the Metabolism dvds. I have lost 21 lbs since the new year! I use them 3 times a week. Plus on top of that, I run on the treadmill one day and have a day of doing a fun activity like hiking or sledding (yes, I'm 25 and still slead!). ![]()
I have to say her workouts are like nothing I have ever done before...it combines strength and cardio together to burn maximum calories and truly has transformed my body like no other workout dvd ever has. I used to be a taebo junkie but it never delivered results. Now, with JM my body feels strong and the lbs are melting off. I love it and would recommed it to anyone.
Just remember one thing: She will push you on the dvds and it will feel tough. You will want to give up but don't. This is when you are making those changes and it is why I have had the success that I have so far.
